Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 March 2026
1. About Stackhaus
Stackhaus is operated by Stackhaus GmbH, a company registered in Zurich, Switzerland (hereinafter "Stackhaus", "we", "us", or "our"). We offer digital website templates, studio services, and related digital products through our platform at stackhaus.ch and any associated subdomains.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, creating an account, or purchasing a product, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
3. Products and Purchases
All prices are listed in Swiss Francs (CHF) unless otherwise stated and are inclusive of applicable VAT. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. By completing a purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased template for one (1) end project (website) per purchase.
Templates may not be resold, redistributed, sublicensed, or included in any product that competes with Stackhaus. You may modify the template for your own use.
4. Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of our products, purchases are generally non-refundable once the template has been downloaded or the setup process has been initiated. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your purchase, please contact us at hello@stackhaus.ch within 14 days and we will work to resolve the issue or offer a credit.
5. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Intellectual Property
All templates, designs, code, branding, and content on this platform remain the intellectual property of Stackhaus GmbH unless explicitly stated otherwise. The purchase of a template grants you a usage licence only — ownership of the template design does not transfer to the buyer.
7. Limitation of Liability
Stackhaus provides its products and services "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Swiss law, Stackhaus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or services.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
